Beani is a delightful cat – or rather kitten, which is what he still is as far as he is concerned! He has a very soppy temperament and wins hearts with his gentle nature.

Beani made Champion when he was just 11 months old, and was then castrated so that he could be shown as a Neuter, which was always my intention. Whilst undergoing his operation, Beani had a huge ‘bleed’, and it was at this point that we discovered that he is lacking in some of the clotting factors needed in his blood make-up to stop him bleeding once cut. Beani did pull through, but only due to the incredibly fast actions of our vet, Neil MacDonald, who realised quite quickly what the problem was.
Beani has a lovely head, and is of his good overall type.
He is still doing very well on the show bench – he was Best Neuter in Show at the NFCC Show 2005, and then went on that day to become Best In Show Overall – we were incredibly proud of him on that day!
