Rose & Dutchess live with Jayne, Alainnah &Christopher and are much loved!

"Rose and Dutchess have brought so much fun and laughter into our lives, they are loved dearly and totally spoiled. Rose continues to be the cheeky one, as we both knew that she would be. She manages to climb on top of the doors and wardrobes with ease. They both continue to amaze us at how high they can jump. Dutches continues to remain loyal to Rose, she follows her everywhere she goes. Dutchess is so laid back she just sits and watches Rose climb to the top of the highest point, sometimes she does not follow, she just lies at the bottom waiting for her to come back down. They both love to lie next to you in bed, sometimes under the covers, its like having a hot water bottle next to you."

Freya lives with Elaine & Alan (and every e-mail they send makes me laugh as they are always signed off Elaine, Freya..and then Alan at the end!)

"She's happy, she still goes 'potty' of a morning, plays chase with both of us, and Alan chases her with a side-on hop which we think she sees as another cat in attack mode and peep-o, where she stalks us as we peep at her from behind things, before finally jumping out at us, and she gives her 'all' on the climbing post. She does not, however, go outside."

Oyvind, Mia & Chudleigh live with Trish & Rabi

"Well, the first five weeks have flown by but somehow in that time those three cute little kitties have turned into quite huge, manic feline adolescents! Oyvind has now caught up with Chudleigh in terms of size & weight and he is also slightly taller at the shoulder too, getting to be quite a chunky lad and still as cheeky as ever. Chudleigh is longer, leaner and so very conscious of his good looks, a right little poseur, and always cleaning himself. Mia is smaller and slimmer, (probably not surprising being only girlie) but also long bodied and her tail in particular is amazingly long, the longest of the three and already getting very bushy with some nice grey/white colour pattern emerging.

Oyvind fell in the bath in first week here, luckily as it was draining out so both shallow and cool water. Mia then trumped that achievement some weeks later by falling into a fuller one also as draining out, so again luckily not hot water and although she clearly shocked herself she managed to also get herself out again without help (not sure how, we just turned up after hearing the crash & squeals to find a very wet kit shaking herself out on the bathmat!)

Chudleigh, not to be outdone, has developed a liking for and some skill in escapology. We now have to come in front door very carefully, usually bent over ready to catch the little devil as he dives for freedom, and all windows have to be kept on min opening as he has already levered himself out of one not so well secured window-light after climbing the curtains to get there, but we managed to haul him back as luckily he had chosen an upstairs one over conservatory roof. He has succeeded with his dashes for freedom on a few occasions and has led us a merry dance trying to catch him/tempt him back in but luckily at present his bravado fails him still well before the end of the drive/garden - he tends to just sit under my car and taunt us by staying just out of reach!)

Despite the adventures, all three are very well adjusted really, huge appetites and never ending energy and loads of fun. All 3 also now have their own favourite place and time for cuddles too, Oyvind is still my shadow, follows me everywhere and climbs on me for 'kisses' anywhere there's an opportunity to distract me, (also likes knocking off my specs and cleaning my ears - no idea why!) Chudleigh prefers his cuddles after supper, ideally on a lap or in the leather armchair and Mia, well, everything like that has to be still on her terms, when & where she decides but she is now blossoming into quite a bossy little lady after a shyer more cautious start. She also has developed the loudest 'miaow' of the 3, which can become quite insistent and petulant if, for instance in her opinion, supper is late being served."

Cassie lives with Natalie.

Her favourite game is chasing the red dot of a laser pen around the floor although she can't quite figure out how she never manages to catch it.

The first few weeks she only liked having cuddles when she was lying on the floor but recently she has been coming to snuggle up with me at bedtime for cuddles and the last two nights she had sat on my lap for cuddles too.

She seems to have learnt her name now as she will come bouncing through the house to greet me when I call her name.

I also think that she has learnt the sound of my car pulling up because when I come home from work I can't see her through the window as I drive up to the house but by the time I have got out of the car she is always sitting on the windowsill watching for me to come in.

This last week she has been having supervised plays in the garden and she absolutely loves it - so much so that she has figured out how to get out of the cat flap without me showing her what to do. So now when I go to work I have to let the other two out into the garden then leave the flap on in only so she can't get out unsupervised.

This morning she climbed up the big cherry tree in my garden for the first time - I think she is going to have great fun up and down there.
